Ambitious Sustainability Professional required for renowned and market leading, independent design engineering consultancy with fantastic offices in the heart of the vibrant Kings Cross area of London. Working on many of the most prestigious and innovative projects in the UK and globally.

My client seeks a creative and driven Sustainability professional to join the group. The role is based in their iconic London office, offering a superb working environment. You will also be working closely with the wider sustainability teams based across the UK.
With sustainability at the core of the business you will be embedded on key projects across the UK as well as their expanding International work.
What You’ll Be Doing
My client provides a diverse sustainability consultancy service for a range of projects, across all sectors, promoting sustainable development. You will provide project leadership and support the operations of the current team.
As well as project-related work, you will engage directly with industry undertaking research and development studies, and authoring industry guidance across a wide spectrum of sustainability related subjects. My client holds key positions on national design commissions and influential industry bodies. The role also presents the opportunity for involvement in this aspect of work to those keen to have a direct influence on the industry.
What My Client Is Looking For
You will be expected to have experience or awareness of the following fields.
· Energy strategies
· Building Regulations Part L assessments using NHER and IES
· Dynamic modelling for thermal comfort assessments, in-use energy modelling and overheating risk assessments
· Façade performance evaluation
· Renewable energy feasibility studies
· Sustainability strategies and implementation plans
· BREEAM, as well as international assessment methods e.g. LEED and Passivhaus
· Post occupancy evaluation
· Carbon foot printing and sustainable materials selection guidance
· Sustainable master planning and energy services procurement advice
· Water and waste management strategies
You will have experience working within the built environment sector and looking to grow as a leader in the sustainability field.
Already working within sustainability or an engineering consultancy, you will be looking for a new challenge within a practice at the very forefront of the sustainability field. You will bring expertise (with a degree in engineering, architecture, science, and experience in the field) and a passion for creating sustainable solutions. You will relish being part of dynamic team within a progressive and well-respected firm.
You will have good communication skills and an enthusiasm for working within a team environment.
