This role will see you working on a broad variety of projects, with the main focus being on Shore Renewable Energy.  You will form part of a well-established and growing multi-disciplinary planning and environmental consultancy known for their exceptional culture and projects.  This is an exciting time to join the organisation due to exciting plans for growth moving forward.

The successful candidate will work on a wide variety of projects, with the main focus on renewable energy developments. Prospective candidates will be expected to have excellent report writing skills, be well organised with meticulous attention to detail, while also being able to manage a varied workload.

This role will be a pivotal position within the company and offer significant influence in the growth of the team and wider business.

Location

My client has offices in Warrington, Glasgow, Ballymena and Kildare, but also open to having staff based remotely.

Responsibilities & Tasks

·       Pre-application advice, submissions and attendance
·       Project Management and delivery of Site Appraisals, Planning Statements, EIAs, etc
·       Stakeholder Engagement and Management
·       Co-ordinating in-house consultants and liaising with clients
·       Organising and conducting site visits, team meetings and scheduling work
·       Sub-contractor management
·       Preparing and submitting planning applications
·       Tender and Fee Proposal production

Ideally You Will Have The Following

Essential
·       Relevant degree
·       Desire to or already working towards membership of the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI) or the Irish Planning Institute (IPI)
·       Demonstrable experience of the successful delivery and management of projects
·       Excellent working knowledge of the Irish Planning system
·       The successful candidate will be required to produce reports for clients and so attention to detail, reliability, and good organisational skills are essential
·       Ability to project manage multi-disciplinary teams and multiple projects simultaneously
·       Full driving license
·       Own transport
Desirable
·       Chartered Member with RTPI or IPI
·       Experience in the production of fee proposals or tenders
·       Proactive networker
·       Solar farm and/or wind energy experience
