Due to expanding workload and client base, my client is seeking an experienced Landscape Architect/Planner.  This exciting position will see you joining one of the region’s premier independent Landscape and Ecology practices and take on a pivotal role in the business.

My client is an independent, award winning, environmental consultancy based in Bristol, with contracts across the UK. They have a wonderfully diverse range of conservation and development projects including education, public realm, housing and retail, as well as renewable energy schemes.

Known for high quality professional output with a strong emphasis on effective and innovative solutions in design and planning.  As part of their friendly team, you will be working alongside their in-house ecologists and environmental planners. In this role you can expect to develop your career through actively contributing to projects, from tendering through to completion.

You should possess sound knowledge and experience of landscape planning, in particular significant experience of leading on Landscape and Visual Impact Assessments.

Ideally You Will Have The Following

You will have at least five years’ experience working in the private or public sector. You should also have a genuine interest in working in a multi-disciplinary environment, where ecologists and environmental planners work with the landscape team to deliver an integrated approach.

The key candidate requirements for the role are:

·         Experience of delivering landscape work (LVIA,TVIA and EIA technical reports landscape strategies and masterplans);
·         Understanding and experience of working in the UK planning system;
·         A confident, positive and proactive approach;
·         Good communication skills and ability to prepare clear, concise output;
·         Excellent time and task management skills;
·         A full UK driving licence;
·         Experience of supporting on planning appeals and expert witness would be good but is not essential.
