Exciting opportunity for an ambitious sustainability consultant to join this award-winning, Boutique Sustainability Consultancy with exciting plans for further growth. Greengage are seeking an experienced Sustainability Consultant to join their growing Net Zero Carbon business as a sustainability consultant.  This role will see you working within the Energy and Carbon team to carry out Net Zero Carbon assessments on a variety of building types.

Greengage work with range of prestigious clients across various real estate types, helping make significant improvement on energy management and efficiency.

Location

London – Flexible working arrangements available, with a minimum 2 days a week in London

The Role

We are looking for an individual with an understanding of energy in buildings to join the growing Net Zero Carbon business within Greengage   The role will involve the following:

·         Coordinating energy audits across large portfolios including a mix of commercial and residential buildings
·         Reviewing energy audit reports
·         Supporting the team in identifying key measures to upgrade the building fabric and services to Net Zero standards
·         Carbon Baselining and Target Setting
·         Portfolio and property level assessments to set out the net zero transition risk and strategy

The ideal candidate will have relevant industry experience and should be able to demonstrate the following core skills:

·         Carbon Baselining and Target setting
·         An understanding of building fabric, HVAC and energy systems and where typical savings can be made
·         Understanding of building energy profiles and opportunities for savings
·         Strong Excel, data calculation and analysis skills
·         Good project management skills
·         Understanding of Net Zero and policies, standards and frameworks relating to it
·         Good technical report writing and communication skills
·         Some financial knowledge and understanding of CAPEX, OpEx NPV, IRR etc
