Exciting opportunity for an ambitious and dynamic Flood Risk specialist to join a highly desirable independent transport and engineering consulting practice based in Central Bristol.
My client is a highly regarded independent consultancy that has enjoyed rapid growth due to its highly successful formula of delivering exceptional service to its clients and providing a fabulous working environment for their staff.
They work predominantly in the development planning sector and provide a range of transport planning, traffic engineering and infrastructure design services to support development proposals throughout the UK.
Due to an ever-increasing workload across the breadth of services that they offer, the Bristol office are now looking to appoint a Consultant Flood Risk & Drainage specialist to join the team.
You will have the opportunity to be involved in a wide range of tasks and projects. You will support the team leader undertaking flood risk, hydraulic modelling and drainage work for a variety of projects throughout the region, mainly in the private sector. You will be given the opportunity to work on rural, agricultural, residential and commercial flood risk schemes. As well as technical work you will have the opportunity to be involved in liaising with clients, attending meetings and supporting bid work.
My client is looking for an experienced engineer/consultant with a proven track record in flood risk management and assessment along with drainage design

· Excellent Report Writing Skills

· Some Project Management Experience
· Able to work independently or as part of a Team
