I am currently looking for an experienced ESG consultant with a minimum of 2 years’ + experience working in the development finance sector on projects overseas, Africa, Asia and South America.

I am working with a selection of prestigious firms from both consultancy and finance who have exciting expansion plans for 2018.

I am interested to hear from candidates with a proven track record in undertaking due diligence and monitoring of projects in developing countries. Working on behalf of lenders, investors, mergers and acquisition.

You will be working as part of an established team which includes some of the industry’s most highly regarded professionals. You will be working on a rich variety of interesting and diverse projects, which will offer you the chance to expand your knowledge significantly.

You will be assisting the team with due diligence of potential projects, included review of Environmental and Social Assessments and Audits, Environmental and Social Management Systems (ESMS) as well as other E&S/technical documents.

About you

  • University degree in a relevant discipline: environmental science/ ecology; social sciences preferably a Master’s degree 2+ years proven industry experience, within consultancy, banking or finance.
  • Experience in developing countries (ideally Africa, South America, Eastern Europe or Asia is desirable.
  • Willingness to travel
  • Familiarity with the IFC Performance Standards is desirable.
